I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband, Tim, for 41 years — a journey filled with love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Together we’ve raised two beautiful children, Bec and Sam, who have grown into incredible adults. We are also so blessed to have our wonderful son-in-law, Matt, as part of our family. Now, our three precious grandchildren — Indie, Maisy, and Ted — are truly my world. They fill my days with joy and my heart with endless love.
I come from a big, beautiful family — seven sisters and one brother (lucky me!). Our mum and dad were married for 59 devoted years and simply lived for one another and their family. We were incredibly blessed to grow up surrounded by such love and strong family values, which continue to guide me today.
Each morning you’ll find me walking our gorgeous pups, Daisy and Frankie, soaking in the fresh air and appreciating life’s simple pleasures. I adore sunrises and sunsets, dancing whenever I get the chance, enjoying a little vodka now and then, and most of all, spending quality time catching up with family and friends.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in Family Day Care (FDC), a role that has brought me so much fulfillment. The special connections formed along the way — with children and families alike — have been one of the greatest joys of my life.
I’ve also been very active in community fundraising over the years, but supporting Betty’s Place, our local women’s and children’s shelter, has been especially close to my heart. For the past seven years, raising funds and awareness for this important cause has been a true passion of mine.
Family, community, connection, and gratitude — they are the foundations of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💛
